Techno-Economic and Power System Optimization of a Renewable Rich Islanded Microgrid Considering Different Dispatch Strategies

In this work, the evaluation of design and optimization proposed offgrid hybrid microgrid systems for different load dispatch strategies is presented by assessing component sizes, system responses cost analyses system. This study optimizes sizing Barishal Chattogram (two popular divisions in Bangladesh) consisting wind turbine, storage unit, solar PV, diesel generator a profile 27.31 kW five techniques: (i) order, (ii) cycle charging, (iii) following, (iv) HOMER predictive (v) combined strategy. The considered microgrids are optimized least CO 2 gas emission, Net Present Cost, Levelized Cost Energy. two analyzed techniques using software, subsequently, power performance feasibility performed MATLAB Simulink. results research provide guideline to estimate sizes probable costing optimal operation under various conditions. simulation suggest that `Load Following' best strategy having stable response with lowest net present cost, levelized energy, operating emission rate. Additionally, determined be worst technique off-grid maximum emission.
